Overview of Speaking Tour
On Sunday 18th November a self-funded delegation of 19 Malaysians opposed to Australian rare earth miner, Lynas Corporation will be arriving in Sydney. These men and women, residents from the coastal town of Kuantan in Peninsular Malaysia formed a group in early 2011 known as
 Save Malaysia Stop Lynas(SMSL).
SMSL, along with thousands of Malaysians, are vehemently opposed to the lack of information and the hasty and inadequate approval process by the Malaysian Government who gave the green light to Lynas’ rare earth refinery in Kuantan, the Lynas Advanced Materials Plant (LAMP).
The SMSL campaign is the largest environmental campaign in Malaysia’s history. The delegation is calling for your support to stop Lynas and TURN OFF THE LAMP.

  1. Interesting fact is there are several SMSL members who are share holders of Lynas including MR Tan Bun Teet and were at the lynas AGM.
Why are you holding shares in a company you say you want to drive out of Malaysia Mr Tan Bun Teet?
    TO MAKE MONEY!
Good to see the share price has rebounded strongly and Mr tan has a made a profit. You are going to need that profit to pay the Lynas court costs that were awarded against you and believe me there will be a lot more of that to come
    You hypocrite!
